GDAA Wins 1st Place in Advertising Education
The Greater Dayton Advertising Association won 1st Place for its Advertising Education initiatives and was recognized at the American Advertising Federation's national conference on June 6, 2009.
The criteria for the award is providing programs for professionals, students and the general public to improve the skills, professionalism and standards of current and future advertising practitioners through education as well as provide an understanding of, and confidence in, advertising and its contributions to the community and the economy. GDAA, including Dayton Creative Syndicate, were recognized for the Professional Development Series, Legal Series, DCS Adobe User Group, Ad Hoc Education Committee, Student ADDY's (Hermes), and partnership with the Better Business Bureau/Advertising Review Council.
