As a member of your local advertising club you
are also a member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the
industry's largest and most representative organization of the
advertising industry. Our membership represents corporate members,
local advertising clubs and federations and college chapters. AAF is
truly the "unifying voice for advertising."

 Andrea Burnside,
manager, AAF mosaic center and education services, aburnside@aaf.org. Andrea
manages the Mosaic Center programs, which include the Mosaic Awards,
Most Promising Minority Students Program and the Mosaic Principles
& Practices. Prior to joining the AAF, Andrea taught
communications at the University of West Georgia and held
advertising sales positions at Clear Channel Entertainment and
CBS/Viacom. Andrea received her B.A. from UNLV in communications and
a master's degree from Howard University in mass communications.

| The American Advertising Federation
(AAF) named industry executives to its board of directors, effective
July 1, 2006. Andy Jung, senior director of advertising &
media services, Kellogg Company, will again serve as AAF chairman
and Murray Gaylord, vice president, brand marketing, Yahoo!
Inc., will serve as AAF vice chairman, as part of their two-year
term. Board members were voted in by the membership at the AAF
National Conference 2006 annual business meeting on June 13.

National Ad 2—Ad 2 is a national network of
local advertising federations whose members are age 32 and younger.
Ad 2 clubs give young professionals a chance to interact with their
peers, and they help to bridge the gap between college graduation
and entry into the professional world by providing professional

National Ad 2 Public Service
Competition—This year seven teams participated in the National
Ad 2 Public Service Competition. With more than one million dollars
donated in time, media and creative services last year, the National
Ad 2 Public Service Competition truly shows how our local clubs
provided their nonprofits clients a service. This year the National
Ad 2 Public Service Competition winner was Ad 2 Madison with their
powerful work for Madison County's Rape Crisis Center.

Multiculturalism
Diversity Achievement and Mosaic Awards—The AAF
has joined forces with District Two once again to host the Diversity Achievement and Mosaic Awards and
Forum as part of Advertising Week New York. The Diversity
Achievement and Mosaic Awards & Forum are intended to not only
recognize those in advertising that have demonstrated a commitment
to a more diversified industry, but also provide a medium for
discussing topics affecting today's advertising industry. Mosaic
Awards are presented in each of the following categories: Workforce
Diversity, Employee Diversity, Multicultural Ad Campaign,
Multicultural Media Usage, Multicultural Supplier Partners and
Student Diversity Programs. In addition, District Two gives
Diversity Achievement Awards in the following categories: Industry
Career Achiever, Industry Influential, Role Model, Educator,
Trendsetter and Corporate Leader. The sponsorship deadline for the
Diversity Achievement and Mosaic Awards Luncheon & Forum is
August 18. The AAF will announce the award recipients in each
